Typographic pinewood derby car

The Columbus Society of Communicating Arts recently held a fun looking Pinewood Derby contest. I especially love the “Typemobile” pictured above. As a former 3 time champion in my Cub Scout years, it combines the fun I had making Pinewood Derby cars as a youth, with my current design obsession as an adult. I also thought the iPhone car was pretty cute. It makes me wish there was some local contest like this for fellow nerds in the Minnesota area.
