I’ve been waiting for this for a while, Typographica just released their Top Typefaces of 2007. I love the extended articles for each pick this year. I looked through them and I saw a lot of nice sans serif typefaces that I loved, (Gloriola, Taz III, National, and Graphik)
But after much deliberation, my favorite turned out to be the serif typeface called Feijoa. It’s the one pictured above, and surprising because I generally like my fonts sans serif. But I just kept coming back to stare at those amazing ligatures.
