Gentle Pure Space

I am currently swooning over the above video of Thee More Shallows playing their song Ask me about Jon Stross live and acoustic on a couch. I’ve been a big fan ever since I saw them open for Why? a few years ago. They have a very low key, new-folk style, but the music has so much depth and atmosphere that goes straight to the soul. I love this version where they are playing acoustically and even more lo-fi than usual, especially how the drummer is just playing on a pillow and it still seems to sound so nice.
