Urban Spectacles consists of hand carved glasses frames made of wood. The glasses are beautiful and unique, I just wish the photos and website would do them justice.

Kevin Cherry is an art teacher that creates fantastic mixed media collages with typographic subjects in his free time. For the most part, the collages consist of paper, photo transfer, and screen printing onto painted wood. Sounds like a lot of work, but the texture it creates is very nice.

Netherland Art has created some pretty groovy art pieces using collage materials, acrylics, and resin on a wood surface. I love when art is done on a nice slab of grainy wood, and he really knows how to work that 70’s rainbow.
I thought these paintings on shaved pencils by Ghostpatrol were pretty clever. It’s a great idea and the paintings themselves are like little ambiguous windows into a mystical world.

I have a thing for benches, and I really love these spaghetti benches made by Pablo Reinoso. They are like something out of a surreal painting. Beautiful.
