I love this little gallery of vintage looking hand made flea circuses. It makes me want one just to have as decoration in my house. The photos have that nice vintage coloring to them as well, I just wish they were bigger.

Cynical Christmas Cards

Erstlaub, a musician/designer friend of mine, designed this humorous set of cynical Christmas cards. Although I’m not so cynical about the holidays, they still made me laugh, and I love the minimal black Helvetica bold on white design.

These watercolor based graphics by Karen Kurycki made me smile instantly. I love the way she uses loosely dropped watercolor to give it some organic texture, but the careful layouts of the paint keep the designs graphic in nature.
