Kato - Business cards

I love these business cards for Andre Kato. They are very bold while staying clean and minimal. It looks like they fit together to form a typographic design on the back. Unfortunately, I don’t read Portuguese so I don’t know much about them, other than how nice they look.

Huge collection of logos from the 1970’s

Here’s a great Flickr set of 121 pages of logos from the 1970’s scanned from the book “World of Logotypes”. Solid black on plain white, that’s the way to do it. None of those fancy gradients and reflection cop-outs that you see everywhere these days. Just pure balance, harmony, and simplicity.
