Here are handful of things I liked last week, please click on the images to go to their source. Lots of handmade typography in this nice music video for a Death Cab for Cutie song, Little Bribes. Great color and texture in this illustration. Kyle Poff does some nice identity designs. Love these artistic handmade [...]
So sublime I want to go to there Really impressive stop motion, I love tiny bits of hand cut paper Nice book cover, intelligent write-up about the book as well White text on soft colored photographs is so hot right now Love the beams of light Interesting combination of two of my favorite fonts From [...]

I thought this was pretty cool, this person’s garden is shaped like the letter “a”. I might have to do that one day. Maybe a “g” for garden, with darker colored, and more densely populated flowers.

Recent graduate Valerie Jar has a great portfolio taking shape. I love the colors used in her illustrations and handmade items, and her graphic design is very clean and professional. You can buy those owl pillows and more of her work at her Etsy shop.

It would be a fun mirror for those that use compact mirrors, but I would also like it just so that I could photograph it reflecting different scenes. It would [...]
I have a thing for benches, and I really love these spaghetti benches made by Pablo Reinoso. They are like something out of a surreal painting. Beautiful.
15 students from Shankar college in Israel traveled to China to participate in a workshop for designing bamboo toys. The toys are really cute, and of course, bamboo is super sustainable. I love the way the simple bright colors look with the light brown color of the bamboo.
Emma Smart has a nice portfolio of crafts and design that she does. I thought the scrabble tile toss pillows were pretty neat.

The nutrition label layout makes the figures much more “digestible” (sorry, that pun wasn’t planned, I swear). It might get more people to think that they should treat house shopping in a similar way to food shopping. When most people pick [...]
