Brilliant mini-documentary, asking 50 people the same question (HD version in the link). You’d be surprised how quickly you can connect to a human being enough that you start to tear up when they answer.

I thought this was pretty cool, this person’s garden is shaped like the letter “a”. I might have to do that one day. Maybe a “g” for garden, with darker colored, and more densely populated flowers.

Flickr user s.alt has a beautiful set of plant silhouette photography. I love how the contrast is so high that they almost look like vector art work. These photos would make great inspiration for graphic designs and patterns.

I just thought this was a very funny and appropriate way to test out your new letterpress machine. Those true nerds out there (which I’m guessing is a good proportion of my visitors) will understand, others can learn the significance here. I love the meshing of old world and new world.
