Haas Unica in use at Olympiastadion

Flickr user “Stewf” took some nice photos of the rarely found “Haas Unica” typeface being used in Berlin’s Olympic stadium. I love the way it looks, especially that lowercase “a”, it’s so cute.
If you don’t already know the history of Haas Unica, check out this post about it on Ministry of Type.

Retarded Children Benefit Show

I saw this photo of a roll of tickets for a “Retarded Children Benefit Show” and I had to post it. Apparently is was taken through the window of an abandoned movie theater. It almost looks like a photoshop, but I forget that “retarded” used to be politically correct back in the day.

Groundwork - Pretty painterly prints

I like these prints by Groundwork on Etsy. They feature simple scenes, muted colors, and great texture.

5 nice photos of found typography

I love photos of found type, especially if the photo itself is well composed. I thought I’d share a few nice ones that I’ve come across recently.
