Holophonic Sounds, or, some insane “auditory illusions”

The sound clips were recorded with two microphones placed in a dummy’s head to simulate the way we would hear the sounds if they were actually happening around us. The virtual haircut is especially creepy in a fun way. Be sure to wear headphones and close your eyes for the full effect.

William Fitzsimmons

The music of William Fitzsimmons consists of hushed, soothing vocals, reminiscent of Iron and Wine, combined with gentle acoustic folk melodies. The part that really sets him apart from the masses is the superb integration of electronic elements, creating an atmosphere you can almost swim in.
