Gentle Pure Space

This blog is the online journal of me, Richard Roche. It’s mostly a place where I post visual inspiration that I come upon, but occasionally I will post other things that catch my interest, or announce things that I have created myself.

I am a Graphic Design student working on my BFA at Minnesota State University in Mankato. I am the president of the school’s AIGA chapter and a designer for the Student Activities Center. In my free time I spend time with my lovely fiancée, and obsess over design in every way possible.

The name of this site comes from my favorite poem:

space

it’s worth

centuries of
existence

say

just to scratch your neck
while looking out the window at
a bare branch

that space
there
before they get to us
ensures
that
when they do
they won’t
get it all
